A dark show, well worth the listen...
Stef explain to me the absolute hostility and sociopathic behavior/avoidance/rudeness in women nowadays they all act like I'm Jeffrey Dahmer about to rape them they all just run away. Its like I'm not allowed to approach them in 99% of places or be a healthy human being in the paranoid psychotic world, I'm moving out of this blue hellhole
My parents were neglectful, not physically or verbally abusive in any way. There was just... nothing. My mom left the family and was out of my life from 8-18. My dad remarried and 5 more children. I have a lot of feelings of loss and sadness within that extended family. I'm glad I notice this, but what are some blind spots I should be aware of? Especially in regards to my own parenting?
any advice for a person who constantly ruminates over a past betrayal/exploitation, with no acknowledgement or apology from the perpetrator
How much culpability do you credit the media for people becoming polarized over topics like Covid? If the news were information essential for our worldview, similar to food necessary for nutrition, the media poisons the well and destroys the message promoting false worldviews and beliefs.

Stefan Molyneux unpacks a compelling question from a subscriber about Ayn Rand's claim that epistemology is the highest branch of philosophy. He clarifies his argument that moral philosophy may actually take precedence, unpacking Rand’s view that reason equals virtue and serves humanity's flourishing. He challenges this correlation by discussing how individual actions, driven by self-interest, can yield success at odds with societal well-being. He explores discomforting truths about ethics and morality, highlighting contradictions in Rand's arguments and how unethical behavior can sometimes lead to personal success. Stefan also examines Rand's perspectives on societal obligations and the implications for individualism, questioning the effectiveness of a purely reason-based morality in our complex realities. Throughout, Stefan reflects on historical contexts and Rand's life experiences, advocating for a nuanced understanding of morality that transcends traditional ethical frameworks.
