Hey, Stef!
This is the husband from the call-in show “My father shot my dog!” I wanted to give you an update on how things are going.
As my wife talked about on your show, she had been experiencing anger with our daughter during the night that she felt was uncontrollable.
We are grateful for the insight you provided.
One thing you touched on was the subject of sleep, or the lack thereof. Neither of us had realized just how bad our sleeping situation was. We have since made it a priority for ourselves to catch up on much-needed rest when the opportunity presents itself, or if we can provide that opportunity for each other by taking the kids out. As a result we have both been able to maintain better composure over our emotions and can respond to our children’s needs with more compassion and empathy. Again, thank you for bringing that up.
My wife has started therapy as well.
We are also expecting our third! A boy. We are all excited.
Thank you for all you do!

But there was a ton of sentimentally valuable stuff in there that is irreplaceable, like my wife’s wedding dress and a bunch of other wedding related things, probably a hundred books marked up with my personal notes and underlines while I was reading them, and much more.
"I am also thankful to have a good church community and a lot of people who are eager to help us get back on our feet.
This is the most devastating disaster I’ve ever experienced. How do I get it together and move forward from this? How do I keep my wide ...

In this episode, we examine the dynamics of conversation and the importance of honesty in relationships. I critique a recent discussion between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz, highlighting the challenges of maintaining reason in political discourse. Through audience questions, I reflect on accountability in politics and personal responsibility, sharing my own struggles with these concepts. We also explore the impact of artificial intelligence on creativity and the necessity of honest communication. I justify my return to X (formerly Twitter) and encourage listeners to consider their experiences with truth in relationships. Ultimately, this episode emphasizes the vital role of honesty in sustaining connections.
