I heard that my mom has been playing victim on social media, so I wrote this poem as a way to process it. Thought this community would be an appropriate place to share it:
Mom, is it true?
You’re twisting the abuse you’ve done to me and claiming I did it to you?
You said the truth sets people free,
So why are you attacking me?
I’m only doing what you raised me to do.
Oh, I forgot. Those standards don’t apply to you.
Sure, you have more people on your side.
All that means is they have something to hide.
They’re believing your fake cries-
As you spew your hateful lies.
Evil, immoral…
Trying to reason with such people ends in quarrel.
Our relationship is through.
I’ve wiped my hands of you.
Stef will sometimes mention how libertarians failed to speak up for him, except for Tom woods and Styx - I've always found this list confusing because I've listened to a bunch of shows where Stef and Jeffrey Tucker have Wonderful rapport, so I didn't understand why Tucker was on that list.
It finally occurred to me to look into it and I found this tweet from

It's ironic that he calls those who acknowledge the reality of IQ and it's implications as ill-read and undereducated.
This really bummed me out as I've heard Tucker call Stef one of the most important libertarian thinkers.
