Breaking sex addiction
- parents divorced when I was 4
- I was exposed to sex at a very young age
- mother was sole caregiver and very abusive
- this fed into a constant and persistent search for sex and I have done some things I'm very ashamed of as a result
- had two serious relationships and was cheated on in both (red flag blindness)
- the cheating has turned into a fetish likely as a defence mechanism but I don't know how to escape

Hey Freedomain community, I had a question about a woman I’m talking with and am curious if anyone has any experience with this.
I’m 29 years old, talking to a 32 year old woman. She is dedicated to going to church, is sweet and attractive. We’ve went on a “lunch date” essentially and that’s it.
Shes a prolific texter and responds quickly. However, when I mention going on a date or hanging out more she never acknowledges my question and we continue talking about other stuff like work.
I would describe this woman’s personality as an “alpha” type, hyper competitive and a tad on the tougher side.
If anyone has an idea as to why she seeemingly ignores my offers of going out your advice would be greatly appreciated.
