THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This analysis examines an article written against the core arguments of anarcho-capitalism, purporting to highlight contradictions in its foundational principles. Stef critiques their notion of a legal monopoly on force, arguing that prohibiting alternative protection services constitutes coercion and undermines the moral basis for a state monopoly. The discussion raises questions about the feasibility of a government maintaining order without infringing on individual rights and the subjective nature of defining concepts like aggression and self-defense. The speaker emphasizes the importance of competition in defining rights, suggesting that a system based on voluntary negotiation leads to a more equitable society than one reliant on state authority. The lecture concludes with a warning against any single entity holding a monopoly on force, advocating for a society where voluntary agreements foster freedom and reduce the risk of tyranny.

I’d accept American outrage at health care costs much more readily if they weren’t so fat in general.
THE TRUTH ABOUT BACK PAIN
I hope this can help the FDR community. Please share with anyone you know who is suffering.
A bit about me:
• Bachelor of science with a focus on exercise phyisology, anatomy, and remedial exercise.
• 18 years clinical practice in medically adjacent field.
• 26 years experience managing my own lumbar herniation and severe low back pain (with no surgery and zero outside hands on assistance)
• Currently enrolled in master clinician course for spine biomechanics.
My experience with severe low back pain began when I was 15 years old. There was no traumatic event so I can only attribute the initial occurrence to bad luck and some lifestyle factors related to sitting, and improper exercise technique. It was really a straw that broke the camel's back scenario.
Everything you hear about the level of pain is true. It was so bad at times that I literally could not breathe. I would get 1/4 second into a deep breath and instinctively halt inhalation due to the pain radiating around my low back and ribcage. I also ...
