Chapter 1 review:
Sexuality was given implicit consent to girls and boys alike in public schools. Nutrition education implies we will eat, Sexual education implies we will have sex. What was neglected was the understanding of Sexual values (sexual market place value, sexual liberation VS sexual empowerment, and women's bargaining power of relationships being in her denial of sexual access.)
This leaves girls confused because they have done exactly as was explained (use contraception, use abortion, use precaution and tell people where you are going to be) and they still find themselves shattered after the boy they want to spend their life with never texts back the next morning.
